When it comes to a modern, high-tech, and long-lasting crossover SUV, the 2023 Nissan Murano is one that can truly do everything. With incredible performance, smart technology, and increased comfort all offered at a very affordable price tag, there’s a good reason why thousands of drivers have been waiting to get their hands on it. So that you can be fully informed, we’ll go into what Nissan has included in each trim of this year’s Murano.
The Murano S
As Nissan always does, Nissan introduces the base trim of this year’s Murano with the full line of safety features offered with Nissan Safety Shield 360, including Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, newly improved LED headlights, daytime running lights, and much more.
And the interior tech features make the Murano S anything but a simple base model. With features that include WiFi capability, USB-A and C ports, an automatic climate control system, and the full technology of NissanConnect with an 8-inch touchscreen, this base trim comes with a bunch of tech gadgets that many competitors reserve for premium trims.
The Murano SV
For the next trim up, Nissan adds some cool automation gadgets to the Murano SV trim, including remote keyless entry and starting, intelligent cruise control, a front and rear sonar system, and an auto-dimming heated rearview mirror.
The SV also has some stylish luxury features added, including leather-lined seats, a 10-way powered driver’s seat, and heated front seats.
The Murano Midnight Edition
Taking its name literally, the Midnight Edition comes with a sleek glossy black grille, lower bumper, side molding, alloy wheels, as well as illuminated kick plates. Lovers of outdoor sports and family trips will also appreciate the roof rails which come by default on this trim.
Beyond the black stylish aesthetics, the tech and performance features are identical to the Murano SV.
The Murano SL
At the Murano SL trim, the Nissan Murano is starting to get up to luxury car level with its entertainment and tech features. The front seats, rear seats, and steering wheel are now heated, and the Infotainment system is now complemented with an 11-speaker Bose Premium surround-sound system.
The Murano SL trim also introduces Nissan’s new Door to Door Navigation, which includes a high-tech traffic sign recognition and traffic monitoring system, allowing drivers to relax and enjoy the ride with extra safety.
The Murano Platinum
The highest tier of the Nissan Murano, the Murano Platinum wraps off the lineup with a few extra features to give the Murano a more luxurious feel, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an automatic moonroof, wood-toned interior trimming, and improved 20” silver-lined wheels.
